Sandra V. Mokris, OD, FAAO

Sandra V. Mokris (Moe-kris) grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada and received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from UNLV where she was in the Honors College. She received her doctorate from the New England College of Optometry in Boston, Massachusetts and completed residency at the Southern Nevada VA Hospital. She became a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry in 2015 and is a member of the American Optometric Association. She enjoys all aspects of optometry from retinal disease in the elderly to the emerging world of myopia management in adolescents.

Dr. Mokris' passion for providing quality patient care was her primary motivation for opening EYES on North Ridge, a full service optometric practice in the beautiful North Ridge area of North Raleigh.

When Dr. Mokris isn’t at work, you'll find her trying new restaurants in the Triangle and biking Raleigh's greenways with her husband and dog.

Dr. Mokris speaks Spanish and Serbian/Croatian.
